NW Hunter S24N

The Northwest Hunter evokes the images of one of the harshest outdoor wilderness areas in the world.  Sportsmen, fishermen, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts require a knife that can fulfill a variety of tasks, is easy to carry, and can perform in a wide range of environments.  The NW Hunter is designed for the outdoor rigors it may encounter.  With an elongated clip point blade, flat ground bevels, and the world famous sharpness found on all SOG products, the NW Hunter will not let you down.  This is a state of the art knife that utilizes a small serrated section on the blade to increase the cutting power on fibrous material such as animal cartilage, ligament, or nylon rope.  Manufactured entirely from 440 stainless steel, the NW Hunter features quality seldom seen even in very expensive knives… soldered cross guard to blade construction. SOG has become known for the comfortable feel, exceptional balance and ergonomically designed handles of its products.  The NW Hunter is no exception and uses our wrap around Kraton handles for a non-slip grip, even when wet or when dressing out game.  Northwest Hunter… take a little bit of civilization with you.  Rarity Note: The NW Hunter was only available from 1991 – 1992 and very few are known to exist today in comparison to the NW Ranger. Also, the box label (last pic) is the only way of identifying the knife as the NW Hunter due to the NW Ranger was made in EDM.WA as well during 1993-1994.
