This is the earliest version of the CrossCut that was produced only one year (1997). What distinguishes the early version from others are the tweezers. Specifically, the tweezers are wider, include thumbnail holes and face a different direction (see last two pictures). These accessories included in the CrossCut make a precision instrument for cutting, personal care and the unexpected. SOG’s gear driven compound leverage allows for big-sized cutting power to be truly miniaturized with its spring-loaded scissors.
